FORREST TOTALLY NEEDS MORE FRIENDS YOU GUYS

Did this like Social Links in Persona 3/4, where for every important friendship-related event they have together, it ranks up one. <3

Scooter: Forrest's first pokemon. Scooter tends to be pretty harsh with him sometimes a lot always, but Forrest considers them friends and figures that's just the way he is (and is also just slightly in denial). At the start of his pokemon journey, he made a pact with him that he'd become a great pokemon trainer, so he's pretty dedicated to his word.

• Met Scooter and started photostalking him accidently on purpose.
• Made an agreement with him to become a great trainer that would live up to Scooter's expectations.
• Defeated their first pokemon, Cherie, together.

Chaz: Forrest considers him, like his other two pokemon, his friend. Which is actually kind of more true in Chaz's case, because Chaz outwardly likes him (or at least would be vocal about it if he could talk). He doesn't know a whole lot about him, like why he was chilling in a swamp, but he doesn't really care. He's also mostly oblivious to the whole "Chaz is a ghost" thing.

• Met Chaz in the Chalcedony Wetlands and freed him.
• Bonded over the fact that he's not scared of Chaz in the least bit.

Cherie: Forrest finds it a bit harder to bro it up with her than with Chaz or Scooter because she's a girl in frilly clothes. She's pretty critical of him at most times, but like with Scooter, he doesn't seem to care much. He believes in her desire to become a stronger person, probably even more than she believes in herself.

• Battled Cherie and was impressed by her tenacity, so he offered for her to travel along with them.

Spike: Forrest's so-called rival and childhood friend. He used to tease her because he was a prepubescent boy with a crush. When he got a little older he asked her out once and she kinda-not-really turned him down, but he didn't realize that it was a complete no and his hopes and dreams were crushed. He's apparently gotten over it though and calls her a lot to cheer her on. Still has a crush on her. <3

• They grew up together.
• She kinda-turned him down, but then he decided he was going to just keep liking her anyways (just not be obvious about it kinda).
• He started off on his pokemon journey and started calling her more often because now he actually has a good reason for doing so.
